Brad S. Grayson
Brad concentrates his practice in the area of litigation and has experience in such matters as: shareholder remedy actions; partnership disputes; breach of fiduciary duty suits; employment contract and discrimination claims; bank and other financial institution litigation; real estate, construction and condominium litigation; unfair competition claims; fraudulent transfer actions; trust and estate controversies; class actions; consumer fraud, product liability, defamation and other tort claims; professional liability and malpractice claims; and insurance |

coverage disputes. He has conducted several trials and evidentiary hearings and has argued numerous appeals in both the state and federal courts. In addition to litigating disputes, Brad consults with clients on a broad range of business issues and has drafted a number of employment agreements for his clients with a focus on restrictive covenants and confidentiality provisions. Brad’s clients include banks and other financial institutions, closely-held companies and successful individuals. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.A. 1981), the University of Chicago (M.A. 1984) and Loyola University of Chicago (J.D. 1987). Brad is a member of
the Illinois Bar, the Bar of the United States Court
of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit, and the bars
of the United States District Court for the Northern and Central Districts
of Illinois, including the Northern District’s trial bar. He
previously has practiced law with three major Chicago law firms and
was a partner in two of those firms. |
