Howard Jay Glaubinger

Jay concentrates his practice in estate and trust planning, business and real estate transactions, employee benefits, and tax law.  He advises clients in sophisticated financing activities on behalf of lenders and borrowers. 

Jay also assists clients in corporate, partnership and limited liability company matters, including drafting and negotiating complex business arrangements in joint venture agreements and operating agreements; employment law matters, including drafting employment agreements,

 
 

creating written employment policies, and designing and implementing deferred compensation plans for key executives; 401(k) and profit sharing plan matters, including designing and implementing qualified retirement plans, and representing plans before the IRS and Department of Labor; real estate matters, including representing buyers and sellers of properties, and implementing tax and creditor protection planning for owners of real estate; and income tax issues, including tax planning for complex business transactions and representing clients before the IRS in the course of an audit. 

Jay is a graduate of Indiana University (1992) and the Washington University in St. Louis School of Law (1999).  Jay is a CPA with previous experience at a national accounting firm.  Jay is admitted to practice law in Illinois and Missouri.
